The Friends Who Put you onto New Music

Making the perfect playlist can take up to three months or sometimes much longer, says co-founder of ThaVibezTribe, AJ Elam.

In 2019, Elam and his longtime college friend created an Instagram music blog dedicated to the new and upcoming artists of today.

The two friends use the ThaVibezTribe to illuminate the overlooked talent in the music industry by creating perfect playlists containing new artists.

“There are more than just 25 artists on this planet. There are people with less followers who are just as talented as the people you see on the top 40 charts,” said Elam.

Prior to the pandemic, ThaVibezTribe would attend about three to four concerts each week to support and cover new talent performing in Los Angeles.

The pair always had a love and passion for music and thought sharing it with the world through a series of moody playlist would help them embrace that.
