The Charlotte Hornet are down one radio announcer after he tweeted a racial slur. The North Carolina basketball team's radio announcer, John Focke, recently completed his first season with the Hornets, and yesterday (August 17), he shared a tweet about the Hornets vs Utah Jazz game. This is where things get weird. “Shot making in this Jazz-(N-word) game is awesome! Murray and Mitchell going back and forth what a game!” Focke wrote.

Kim Kardashian West is now focusing her prison reform efforts on helping free New Orleans rapper, Corey "C-Murder" Miller. Miller is the brother of media mogul Percy "Master P" Miller and rapper Silkk Tha Shocker. He is currently serving a life sentence in the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. A jury voted 10-2 on Aug. 11, 2009, to convict him in the death of Steve Thomas. The killing happened in 2002 at a Harvey nightclub.
